Finished: Bright Baby Blanket

img_9340

Another blanket done! This time that yarn is not something I would usually choose, but after finishing this I really love the effect. I used my trusty 5mm hook and my forever-favourite Ice Yarn to make this. I’ve had some extra time over the christmas break so have been taking advantage of this and making a heap of blankets for my market stall.
To finish this off I did  two rounds of single crochet. This gives the blanket a nice edge and used up some left over yarn!

The corner to corner effect really looks amazing with the multicoloured yarn and it’s quick and easy to do. Follow the link below for the free pattern. Link is also below for the yarn. Although the shipping seems unreasonable, it works out cheaper than my local craft store and is higher in quality and choice.
