Finished: Purple Sunday Shawl

If i like a pattern there’s a good chance I’ll make it a lot. I finished my first Sunday Shawl and instantly wanted to make another. I did want to mix it up a bit, cause i like to personalize everything. I found this yarn at Spotlight and grabbed a pack. Then ran back and grabbed another when I realized it was not 4 ply and more like 8ply. So I hate trebbles, not good when this pattern is mainly that! So instead I worked double crochets. I work much faster this way. Due to the limited yarn I had to change colour in the body of the shawl. I wasn’t sure if I’d like this, but I do now. I alternated the border colours as well. Then I came to my problem, do I finish the shawl now or do the remaining 6 or so rows? The shawl is at a great size for me, too big and heavy can be overwhelming, especially since it doesn’t get cold here. I asked my followers on Instagram and they said stop. So here we are. I still have enough yarn to finish it properly, but I shall wait. I also got some more yarn to make another shawl so maybe that will go full size? Anyways, I hope you enjoy the photos. This pattern is so quick to whip up!
