Travel: Sydney Weekend

A couple of weeks ago i travelled to Sydney for the NRL grand final. Naturally I brought my yarn and hook with me! We visited a lot of the touristy spots as well as some of our old favourites. The weather was super hot considering we usually wear jean and jumpers in October, but it was 36 degrees!! Over the weekend we drove up to The Entrance on the Central Coast. I managed to find a shop that has a heap of crochet magazines! We don’t have anything like this where I live to I stocked up! We drove around and looked at some cliffs and beachy places too.

At the game we had about 10 hours of sitting around while other finals happened. I did a lot of crochet! I took a small amount of Ice Magic yarn and made a bunch of circles that I will later turn into hexagons. This was a great project to bring as everything fit into my small bag and wasn’t some bulky blanket.

Before we left I dropped off a bunch of yarn bombs for people to discover! With a lovely 1 hour delay at the airport I was able to make even more rainbow circles but I am so sick of them now! That project has been put away for another day hahaha!!
